글렌피딕 18년

싱글몰트 입문하던 사람들이 과거 기준으로 10만원대 위스키를 추천해달라고 했을때 늘 후보에 넣어줬던 글렌피딕 18년.
가성비로는 15년이 워낙 평이 좋았었지만, 그래도 늘 15년 보단 쪼금만 더 써서 18년을 마셔보라고 추천했었다.
블렌디드만큼 거부감들지 않으면서 좋은 싱글몰트를 경험하게 해줌과 동시에 잘만들어진, 무려 18년 숙성이면서 상대적으로 저렴한 위스키.
이 친구가 가진 단점은 위스키에 어느정도 혀가 절여진(ABV 40%에 흥미를 잃은 또는 찐득한 셰리나 강한피트등의 자극적이고 특이성향으로 발전되어버려진)사람들이 아니고선 찾지 못할거다.

가격적으로나 맛과 향으로나 항상 고마운 존재.

Glenfiddich 18 — back in the day, when people getting into single malt asked me to recommend a whisky in the 100,000 won range, it was always on my shortlist.
For value, the 15 had a great reputation, but I always recommended spending just a little more to try the 18 instead.
Not off-putting, just like a blend, it lets you experience a good single malt while being well made, aged a whopping 18 years, and relatively cheap.
I doubt anyone would find a flaw in this guy except people whose tongues are already pickled in whisky (who've lost interest in 40% ABV, or who've evolved toward intense, quirky stuff like sticky sherry or heavy peat).

Always grateful for it, both price-wise and for its taste and aroma.
Thanks to it, I had a fun time emptying a bottle!
