카발란 솔리스트 비노바리끄 (면세)

지인이 여행 돌아오는 길에 기내 면세로 살 위스키 추천해달라기에 리스트 둘러보다 카발란 비노바리끄 1+1 가격이 좋아보여서 그거파란거 두병 사시게~ 하고,
혹시 두병까지 필요없으면 내가 한병 살테니 걱정말고 그거 사드셔~라고 했더니 정말 두병 사서 나보고 한병 가져가라길래 받아온 비노바리끄.

별 생각 없이 받아서 집에 들고와서 보니,
아니 도수가 54%가 모람?🫠😇🫠😇🫠😇
CS인데 이러기야??😭😭

숙성기간이나 병입수로 보면 증발이 꽤 빨리된 아이인것 같다.
뚜따 직후라 그런가 이전의 비노바리끄에 비해 전체적으로 열대 과일의 그 특유의 캐릭터가 옅고 약간 담배의 기운이 돈다.
호..혹시 꽝인건가..😱

ㅎㅎ모르겠다 어차피 전에 마시던 보틀도 똑 떨어졌고 쨍한 파란 라벨이라 여름에 마실 요량으로 구입한거니 여름때까진 시간을 주며 천천히 즐겨봐야지.

A friend asked me to recommend a whisky to buy from in-flight duty free on the way back from a trip, so I browsed the list, and the Kavalan Vinho Barrique 1+1 deal looked good, so I said, "Get two of that blue one~,
and if you don't need two, I'll buy one off you, so don't worry and just get it~" — and they actually bought two and told me to take one, so here's the Vinho Barrique I ended up with.

I brought it home without much thought, took a look, and
wait, what, 54% ABV??🫠😇🫠😇🫠😇

Judging by the aging period and the number of bottles, this one seems to have evaporated pretty fast.
Maybe because it was just opened, but compared to previous Vinho Barriques, the signature tropical-fruit character is fainter overall and there's a bit of a tobacco vibe.
C-could it be a dud..😱

Haha, who knows. The bottle I was drinking before ran dry anyway, and I got this one planning to drink it in summer because of that bright blue label, so I'll give it time and enjoy it slowly until summer.
